Service Engineer (Power)

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on power systems, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other critical equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
• Provide on-site support and liaise with customers to address power-related requirements and concerns
• Maintain detailed records of all service interventions and provide comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with the wider Vertiv team to share knowledge and best practices
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of power systems, such as UPS or other critical infrastructure
• Familiarity with power system components, troubleshooting techniques, and commissioning procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills for effective client liaison
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese, with the ability to understand technical manuals and documentation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
