Service Engineer, Infection Control

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, commissioning, repair, and preventive maintenance services for medical equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults and implement field service corrective actions (FSCA).
• Manage on-site parts replacement, including verifying parts, tagging defective components, and maintaining inventory accountability.
• Act as the primary field contact for technical service, managing customer communication and setting realistic expectations for repairs.
• Adhere to strict workplace infection control practices, including PPE and gowning requirements in hospital environments.
• Participate in a weekly standby/rotational on-call shift to provide after-hours support for urgent cases.
• Complete all administrative tasks, service checklists, and technical reports accurately and timely.

Requirements

• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent medical device-related educational background.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance.
• Ability to travel within the South East Asia (SEA) region as required.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to interpret service manuals.
