Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine testing, mechanical servicing, and calibration of Getinge equipment to relevant standards
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding to resolve equipment issues
• Maintain and monitor spare parts stock levels to ensure timely response to call-outs
• Produce high-quality service documentation, validation reports, and electronic reports
• Manage a continuously changing workload, prioritizing customer calls and enquiries effectively
• Communicate regularly with the internal Service Department, Technical Department, and Service Managers
• Comply with all Quality System duties and on-site Health & Safety requirements
• Identify and provide sales leads to relevant Service or Sales Managers

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or sufficient equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in field-based or site-based technical work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-facing attitude
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when necessary
