Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission OEM print machines and MFDs at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on hardware and software.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to print quality, paper handling, and network connectivity.
• Respond to on-site and remote service calls within defined SLA timeframes.
• Provide technical advice, product demonstrations, and user orientation to clients.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job sheets, and parts usage records via CRM systems.
• Adhere to all HSE standards and client site safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
• 3–6 years of field service experience specifically with office or commercial print machines.
• Strong technical knowledge of major OEM brands such as Fujifilm, Kyocera, HP, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, or Canon.
• Proven ability to diagnose hardware, software, and print quality issues.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications

• OEM certifications from brands like Fujifilm or Kyocera.
• Direct experience servicing equipment within a UAE/GCC environment.
• Familiarity with Managed Print Services (MPS) and SLA-driven service contracts.
• Knowledge of network printing, scan workflows, and print driver configuration.
• Arabic language skills.
