About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform technical and periodic inspections to ensure elevators meet required standards
- Execute planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve elevator malfunctions
- Carry out major mechanical repairs, replacements, and adjustments
- Conduct technical site surveys, modernizations, and retrofits
- Prepare timely reports regarding system performance, issues, and required replacements
- Collaborate with team members and customers to deliver high-quality service
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols
Requirements
- Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering
- Relevant lift technology certificate
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the installation and maintenance of traction/hydraulic elevators
- Proficiency in business and technical English
- Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally for short trips
- Ability to pass offshore medical examinations
- Valid driver's license
- EU passport or a valid Dutch work permit without restrictions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with escalators and rack and pinion elevators
- Knowledge of multi-brand inverters and controls
- Leadership skills, including the ability to instruct and train junior technicians
