Service Engineer - Elevator

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and periodic inspections to ensure elevators meet required standards
• Execute planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve elevator malfunctions
• Carry out major mechanical repairs, replacements, and adjustments
• Conduct technical site surveys, modernizations, and retrofits
• Prepare timely reports regarding system performance, issues, and required replacements
• Collaborate with team members and customers to deliver high-quality service
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering
• Relevant lift technology certificate
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the installation and maintenance of traction/hydraulic elevators
• Proficiency in business and technical English
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally for short trips
• Ability to pass offshore medical examinations
• Valid driver's license
• EU passport or a valid Dutch work permit without restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with escalators and rack and pinion elevators
• Knowledge of multi-brand inverters and controls
• Leadership skills, including the ability to instruct and train junior technicians
