Service Engineer - Elevator

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and periodic inspections to ensure elevator systems meet required standards
• Perform planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve elevator malfunctions
• Execute major mechanical repairs, replacements, and adjustments
• Conduct technical site surveys, modernizations, and retrofits
• Prepare timely reports on system performance, issues, and required replacements
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working on ships and offshore installations

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation preferred)
• Professional qualification in elevator engineering
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation and service of traction/hydraulic elevators
• Fluent in English and at least one other language
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Ability to pass offshore medical fitness tests
• Must hold an EU passport or an existing NL residence/working permit without restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with escalators and rack & pinion elevators
• Knowledge of multi-brand inverter drives and controllers
• Experience in the maritime industry
