Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of turbochargers
• Execute disassembly, cleaning, measurement, and assembly according to OEM standards
• Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis for turbocharger issues
• Support field service activities, including on-site troubleshooting and emergency repairs
• Ensure all service work complies with safety standards and quality procedures
• Prepare detailed service reports including findings, measurements, and recommendations
• Collaborate with the workshop team to meet turnaround times and service targets
• Maintain proper handling and storage of parts, tools, and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, measurements, and tolerances
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and service instructions
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally for assignments
• Ability to work in both workshop and on-site environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with turbochargers, rotating equipment, or heavy mechanical service
• Hands-on experience with the disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
