Service Desk Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support for computer hardware, software applications, peripherals, and audio-visual equipment
• Respond to end-user questions and technical problems promptly and courteously
• Monitor and manage service desk tickets, prioritizing tasks based on impact and urgency
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows and iOS operating systems
• Instruct and assist new users with application access, network resources, and acceptable technology use
• Coordinate moves, additions, and modifications for computers, printers, monitors, and phones
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical processes in the helpdesk ticketing system
• Collaborate with system administration and network operations teams to enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, business, or public administration (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
• Proven experience in a customer service role with a focus on user satisfaction
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Windows and iOS operating systems
• Experience using ticketing systems to manage and document technical support requests
