About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide timely remote support from a 24/7 call center environment
- Deliver technical support to patients, physicians, and hospital staff for hospital applications
- Gather customer information and analyze symptoms to determine issues
- Deliver service to end-users via remote connection or the Internet
- Accurately process and record call transactions using designated tracking software
- Document all case information and updates via the Healthy IT ticketing system
- Follow proper escalation procedures as defined by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience in customer service support within a call center or technical troubleshooting environment
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with mobile device support (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile)
- Experience supporting software applications and equipment from a helpdesk environment
- Current valid State Drivers’ License
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a two-year community college, vocational, or technical school in a relevant field
- Knowledge of medical or clinical terminology
