Service Delivery Engineer, SRE

Responsibilities

• Build and manage distributed systems including Galera, Nginx, Aerospike, ElasticSearch, and RMQ
• Deploy operating system vulnerability fixes to production environments
• Perform routine database maintenance activities and manage proxy configurations
• Execute infrastructure scaling and operating system vulnerability rollouts
• Provide 24/7 rotational on-call support to ensure uninterrupted service for millions of users

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix System Administration
• Proficiency with Linux CLI tools and command-line management
• Hands-on experience with Disk and LVM management
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting for automation and debugging
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Salt or Ansible
• Knowledge of database administration concepts such as Shards, Partitions, and Truncations
• Availability for 24/7 rotational on-call shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MariaDB or similar distributed database systems
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies
• Knowledge of Nginx or similar proxy technologies
• Experience with GIT and basic networking concepts
• Understanding of Linux-based firewalls and HTTP/TLS security
