Service Delivery Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability and performance of large-scale fintech infrastructure to ensure services are always-up and always-available
• Manage Linux/Unix systems and implement best practices in IT operations
• Utilize open source technologies and cloud services to support infrastructure needs
• Implement automation and configuration management using tools like SaltStack
• Manage MySQL databases and support high-availability database environments
• Participate actively in the on-call rotation schedule to support production services

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Strong proficiency in computer networking, including IP, iptables, and IPsec
• Hands-on experience with private cloud environments and cloud services
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Golang
• Experience with MySQL database management
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Availability for on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing cloud services on Linux using KVM/QEMU
• Familiarity with container orchestration technology
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Aerospike
• Experience with MariaDB, Percona, or Galera cluster operations
• Experience with data center related activities
