Service Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and communicate workshop schedules to maximize workflow and productivity
• Communicate with customers, managers, and the shop to ensure customer satisfaction and proper workflow
• Communicate issues to customers and work to find solutions
• Propose additional services to customers and schedule future service appointments
• Help develop quotes for service and repair in collaboration with the Service Manager
• Keep customers informed on completion times, delays, and changes to estimates
• Prepare, process, and ensure the accuracy of work orders and warranty documentation

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in the automotive or heavy-duty industry, or 2 years of related on-the-job experience in the service industry
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office
• Background in service and parts
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP software
