Service Coordinator/Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Manage all customer inquiries and schedule requests based on established parameters
• Generate work orders in OMS and schedule them for execution
• Coordinate equipment and personnel to complete work for internal and external clients
• Act as a liaison with facility operations regarding waste requirements and supplies
• Support the sales and field services teams in work execution
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to maintain high service standards
• Review driver and fleet equipment operating hours to ensure regulatory compliance and safety
• Review collection reports to ensure efficient route planning
• Monitor work orders to ensure job scopes are accurate and sufficient for billing
• Participate as an active member of the after-hours response team

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide clear, detailed instructions
• Ability to multitask and solve problems in fast-paced, high-stress situations
• Strong business acumen with a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the hazardous waste management industry
• Understanding of personnel and equipment needs
• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with prior commercial vehicle operations experience
