Service Contract Electrician Technician

Responsibilities

• Evaluate failures in electrical, electronic, RCS, and hydraulic systems on mining equipment
• Execute corrective actions to ensure equipment is operational and meets quality standards
• Issue technical reports regarding equipment failures and repairs
• Prepare detailed work reports including parts used and pending tasks for the next shift
• Replace components and spare parts following official handling instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and order in workshops and assigned work areas
• Perform lubrication, greasing, and washing of equipment according to inspection programs

Requirements

• Degree or technical certification in Industrial Electricity, Electronics, Heavy Machinery Electricity, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of Epiroc or similar mining equipment
• Intermediate technical knowledge of electricity, electronics, RCS, and hydraulics
• Knowledge of diesel engines
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Valid A1 driver's license (with ability to upgrade to A2B within 6 months)
• Availability for high-altitude travel and atypical work schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate English language skills
