Service Center Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and technically support a team of 4-6 Field Service Engineers and Technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, specialized tests, inspections, and appraisals on electrical apparatus and systems.
• Lead large-scale projects including generator acceptance tests, substation commissioning, and turnkey project supervision.
• Manage administrative duties including job estimating, proposal preparation, scheduling, reporting, and billing.
• Drive business development through active client interface and on-site customer consultation.
• Develop new testing and inspection protocols for field service operations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent with at least 9 years of relevant experience (or 10 years with a High School diploma).
• Factory certification on Core Vertiv (Liebert) UPS and related critical infrastructure products.
• Strong working knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution, Generators, Switchgear, and Automatic Transfer Switches.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and circuit flow diagrams.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel internationally for several weeks at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds) and perform physical tasks including climbing and crouching.
