Service Center Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of drivers, driver assistants, and dispatchers
• Manage route scheduling and driver debrief processes to ensure customer service levels
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, environmental health, safety, and regulatory standards
• Promote safety initiatives and conduct regular safety meetings and audits
• Support customer satisfaction by resolving service issues and adhering to SLAs and KPIs
• Oversee service center assets, including equipment maintenance and inventory supplies
• Manage payroll, recruitment, and employee performance appraisals

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; B.S. in an environmental-related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in transportation including logistics and planning
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards
• Experience with transportation management software; Samsara experience is a plus
• Ability to pass a DEA background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CDL
• Experience in the hazardous waste industry
• Knowledge of RCRA regulations
• Experience with process improvement methods like Six Sigma, Lean, or Agile
