Service Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with service director to set overall vision and yearly objectives
• Promote business to grow service revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs
• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities
• Increase billable hours in INSC shop year over year
• Make recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality
• Build the service center business following the Absorption Model, including managing personnel, facilities, tools, systems, and financial reports
• Lead and motivate employees toward understanding and aligning with company culture and goals
• Provide opportunities for employee growth through cross training, goal setting, and feedback
• Handle time & vacation approval, hiring selections, and employment decisions
• Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality

Requirements

• Decisive leadership skills and problem-solving under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• SAP experience preferred
