About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work with service director to set overall vision and yearly objectives
  • Promote business to grow service revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities
  • Increase billable hours in the Indiana service center shop year over year
  • Make recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality
  • Build a culture that upholds company objectives with the team and customers
  • Manage personnel, facilities, tools, systems, and financial reports following the Absorption Model
  • Lead and motivate employees through cross-training, goal setting, and feedback
  • Handle hiring, time/vacation approvals, and employment decisions
  • Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Decisive leadership and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
