About the role
Responsibilities
- Work with service director to set overall vision and yearly objectives
- Promote business to grow service revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities
- Increase billable hours in the Indiana service center shop year over year
- Make recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality
- Build a culture that upholds company objectives with the team and customers
- Manage personnel, facilities, tools, systems, and financial reports following the Absorption Model
- Lead and motivate employees through cross-training, goal setting, and feedback
- Handle hiring, time/vacation approvals, and employment decisions
- Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Decisive leadership and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
