Service Center General Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational leadership and responsibility for the Service Center location
• Manage department and facility profit and loss, including budgeting and financial oversight
• Oversee all service execution projects and manage repair training programs to maximize employee performance
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety requirements and OSHA regulations through regular evaluations
• Provide technical guidance to employees to ensure correct technician assignment and scheduling
• Prepare customer quotations in coordination with Area Sales Managers
• Manage administrative tasks including approving timesheets, expense reports, and capital investment requests
• Support on-site service from the facility as required and travel as needed

Requirements

• Experience managing a service facility
• Strong leadership abilities and people skills
• Proficiency in SAP for quotations and margin analysis
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of financial management and the business aspects of service/repair operations
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• High technical aptitude and ability to identify equipment maintenance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent professional experience
