Service Boiler Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on commercial plumbing and heating equipment including boilers, pumps, and hot water tanks
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial boiler systems
• Complete daily service reports and repair recommendations using mobile applications
• Work autonomously or in teams to complete tasks efficiently
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members
• Participate in rotating 24/7 emergency on-call support

Requirements

• Red Seal Plumbing or Refrigeration Trade Qualification or apprentice capable of working alone
• Relevant industry experience
• Clean Class 5 SK Driver’s License and abstract
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical literature
• Willingness to join Union 179

Preferred Qualifications

• B-Gas Certification
• Cross Connection Control Certification
• A-Gas Certification
• WHMIS, SCOTT, R&R, Mobile Aerial Platform, Fall Protection, or Confined Space training
