Service and Commissioning Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure professional and timely commissioning of individual machines and conversions for rolling mills and belt conveyors
• Independently perform commissioning and process optimization during conversions or repairs until final customer acceptance
• Plan assignments independently and provide support for machine assembly when required
• Monitor all safety and environmental protection guidelines on construction sites
• Conduct customer personnel training and perform contractual performance tests
• Create structured visit reports and commissioning documentation using company software (CRM, CIC, LMS, etc.)
• Document technical changes and perform troubleshooting to resolve malfunctions
• Act as a technical consultant for customers to acquire services such as repairs, spare parts, and modernizations

Requirements

• Vocational training in a metalworking profession, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics and machine alignment
• Strong understanding of occupational safety and environmental protection
• Proficiency in English and MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Willingness to travel approximately 35-40% per year (primarily within Germany and the EU)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
