Server & Storage Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Install, design, implement, and administer Windows Server environments (2016/19/22/25)
• Manage and support Nutanix environments and enterprise storage solutions
• Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Perform Linux installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Manage backup and recovery tools including Veeam, Hycu, and Netbackup
• Handle Severity 1 & 2 incidents and provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Monitor infrastructure using tools like Solarwinds, Datadog, and Splunk
• Document and diagram complex architectures and IT processes using cloud-based tools
• Manage patch deployment, software updates, and server hardening for policy compliance

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Windows Server Administration and troubleshooting
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting AWS environments
• Proven experience working in an L2/L3 Remote Infrastructure Management role
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
• Experience managing Nutanix or other enterprise storage (EMC, NetApp, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix and AWS certifications
• Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) or Windows Server-based application certifications
• Experience using GitHub as a repository for automation
