Server

Responsibilities

• Provide table service for dining room and banquet/catering events
• Set tables and maintain orderly workstations
• Take orders and deliver food items to tables
• Answer questions regarding menu items
• Assist in plating and portion control for appetizers, salads, soups, and desserts
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas
• Complete closing duties including cleaning and resetting tables
• Assist food runners and the Dining Room Manager as needed

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors, guests, and staff
• Must be able to stand and walk for 100% of the work day
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull bus carts up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining
