About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality food and beverage service to guests within the Fairmont Gold department.
- Discover guest needs and act on them promptly, effectively, and with confidence.
- Assist guests with queries and provide informative details regarding menu items and beverage lists.
- Follow all outlet policies, service standards, and safety/sanitation procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform and attendance standards.
- Work cohesively with the Front Office team to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.
- Assist in the training and coaching of new staff members once fully competent.
Requirements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer and system literacy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional service role.
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related hotel management system.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
