Server

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere
• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction
• Set tables in accordance with ESL standards
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested
• Review daily menus with residents and take accurate meal orders
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, and linen from the dining room
• Adhere to food safety practices and Quality Enhancement standards
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
• Clean and sanitize dining room equipment, tables, and chairs
• Communicate resident preferences to the culinary team for menu planning
• Participate in pre-meal staff stand-up meetings

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to resolve problems for dissatisfied customers or employees
