Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests from greeting through farewell
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and allergens to make expert recommendations
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and ensure proper pacing and timing of courses
• Monitor table progress and proactively anticipate guest needs
• Work collaboratively with support staff, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure seamless service
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while confirming order accuracy and presentation standards
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining section
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned
• Uphold responsible alcohol service standards in compliance with local and state regulations

Requirements

• At least 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service fundamentals
• Valid alcohol service certification and food service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Ability to move safely through fast-paced environments, including kitchens

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in high-volume restaurant environments
