Server CPU Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and decommission blade servers, chassis, switches, and supporting infrastructure
• Lead rack and stack activities including mounting, cable management, and labeling
• Maintain accurate asset records within DCIM and inventory management systems
• Triage issues found during server rack validation, post-silicon validation, and production phases
• Lead test execution for AI compute solutions including CPU, GPU, memory, HBM, and IO
• Develop and scale methodologies for at-scale test execution and system debug tools
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to support data center projects

Requirements

• Experience in blade server installation and maintenance (Cisco UCS, HPE Synergy, Dell MX, or similar)
• Experience with rack and stack deployments in enterprise or hyperscale environments
• Proficiency in copper and fiber cabling installation and management
• Understanding of server, storage, and networking hardware
• Exposure to Linux (Ubuntu) OS bootable images and system firmware basics
• Exposure to Python script development and execution
• Experience with DCIM and asset management platforms
• Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and cabling schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience validating and debugging HW-FW-SW challenges in server compute racks
• Experience designing and deploying modern AI/ML rack scale systems
• Knowledge of industry standards for hardware development
