Server CPU Hardware Systems Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead system enablement including first silicon and firmware components to ensure system capabilities meet architecture specifications
• Drive organization-wide methodology for firmware integration and deployment-ready solutions
• Develop methodologies, lab hardware, and system software capabilities for AI compute rack validation
• Triage issues found during server rack validation, post-silicon validation, and production phases
• Develop and own test plans for CPU, GPU, memory, HBM, and IO domains
• Drive technical innovation in tool and script development to improve validation coverage

Requirements

• Extensive experience in validation roles involving first silicon and system bring-up
• Understanding of PCIe and CXL industry standard buses
• Experience enabling storage and networking capabilities in a lab environment
• Strong knowledge of ARM or x86 architecture, SoC design, and power management
• Proficiency in platform-level debug, Operating Systems, Device Drivers, and BIOS interactions
• Deep experience with Linux, Windows, and Hypervisors (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
• Experience in technical program management
• Thorough understanding of datacenter industry technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 14+ years of experience in complex systems engineering for server compute racks or data center blades
• Experience designing and deploying modern AI/ML rack scale systems
• Familiarity with emerging AI and Data Center technologies
• Experience collaborating with global ODM partners
