About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages
- Present menus and provide suggestions regarding food and drink service
- Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses according to established standards
- Compute bills and accept payments
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guest departure
- Complete opening, running, and closing sidework
- Manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements
- One year of hotel food service experience preferred
- TABC Certification
- Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire work shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in English
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays
