Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support Servers by inspecting tables for mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness
• Assist with food running and monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Answer guest questions regarding food, beverages, and wine
• Monitor section cleanliness and ensure areas are free from clutter
• Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating
• Stock fridges with milk, cream, butter, and pre-portion condiments
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Manage garbage disposal and linen changes

Requirements

• Smart Serve Certification
• High attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral communication skills
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25-35 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
