Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional restaurant service including counter service, food running, table service, and deliveries
• Maintain daily setup and breakdown of the restaurant by following established checklists
• Demonstrate deep menu knowledge, including ingredients, bar specials, and dietary information
• Exceed guest satisfaction by utilizing Marriott Quality Assurance Steps of Service
• Perform side work and daily cleaning duties to maintain a neat and professional work area
• Follow all Health Department specifications, including temperature logs and product rotation
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase revenue and enhance the guest dining experience
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior related experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• TIPS training required
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency using POS systems for order management and payments
• Availability to work weekends as part of a part-time schedule
