Server

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Take table orders for all food and beverage from the guests
• Serve guests in a professional and positive manner
• Work behind the bar as a bar server on occasions
• Ensure the smooth running of each table
• Clear and set out tables ready for next guests
• Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
• Exhibit sincere hospitality and obsession with guest satisfaction
• Understand shift end reports and Point of Sale systems
• Manage reservations and iPad seating charts
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, garnishes, beverage lists, and allergens
• Follow brand policies, safety, sanitation, and grooming standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Server in high volume food and beverage operations
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits preparation and presentation
• Previous point of sale system experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
