Responsibilities

• Confirm station assignment and complete daily opening checklists
• Follow Fairmont Kea Lani sequence of service including welcoming guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages
• Maintain full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Use POS system to punch in orders accurately
• Adhere to State of Hawaii Department of Health & EHC food handling safety standards
• Maintain the atmosphere of aloha spirit through personalized and efficient service
• Complete side work and organize time according to shift demand

Requirements

• Minimum two years of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel or 4-diamond environment
• Fine dining experience
• Wine knowledge
