SEO/GEO Strategist

At Everything Bagel, we build and support breakthrough brands that disrupt categories and captivate audiences across digital, social, and beyond. Our brand team leads strategy and messaging for some of the most exciting startups and scaling companies across wellness, beauty, CPG, and education and more.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve organic search strategy across branded and non-branded queries
• Conduct keyword research focused on category education and product comparison
• Optimize site architecture, on-page SEO, and technical foundations
• Develop strategies to improve brand visibility in AI-driven search and generative engines (GEO)
• Optimize content for inclusion in AI summaries, citations, and conversational results
• Inform the creation of educational, comparison, and evergreen content
• Track and report on organic traffic, rankings, and GEO performance indicators using Search Console and GA
• Meet with clients via video and communicate via Slack during US Eastern Time hours

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of SEO experience
• Direct experience in CPG and/or DTC brands
• Proven success growing organic traffic and revenue in competitive categories
• Hands-on experience with on-page, technical SEO, and content optimization
• Familiarity with AI-powered search platforms
• Ability to work independently and overlap with 9-5 US Eastern Time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify or WordPress
• Proficiency in Asana, Google Suite, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
• Experience with subscription-based CPG or omnichannel retail
• Experience optimizing for Amazon or marketplace search
• Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and GSC
• Copy or content strategy background
