SEO Team Lead/Assistant Manager - SEO

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SEO strategy for enterprise and high-value client accounts
• Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of SEO Specialists and Executives
• Drive visibility across AI-powered search experiences including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
• Develop GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies focused on semantic relevance
• Lead advanced technical SEO audits and oversee Core Web Vitals and schema implementation
• Build scalable SEO automation workflows using Python, APIs, and AI tools
• Manage SEO reporting frameworks, KPIs, and advanced dashboards using GA4 and Looker Studio

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of SEO experience with 1–2+ years in a leadership role
• Hands-on expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, and semantic SEO
• Experience with AI Overviews (AIO), GEO, and LLM visibility optimization
• Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
• Experience building SEO automation systems using Python, APIs, or automation tools like Zapier/Make.com
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for SEO automation
• Experience with SQL, WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow
• Expertise in AI tools like Claude, Gemini, and NotebookLM
