About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on SEO/AEO performance, tracking key metrics, trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Maintain dashboards and performance summaries to inform prioritization for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Translate search insights into an optimization backlog, including on-page, content, internal linking, and technical improvements
  • Develop search-informed content strategies by analyzing demand, intent, and competitive gaps
  • Create clear, optimized content briefs for new content, refreshes, and campaigns to guide writers
  • Write or co-write select content pieces and collaborate with internal teams and external copywriters
  • Stay current on AI-driven and answer-based search experiences to ensure content is "answer-ready"
  • Serve as an internal SEO/AEO advisor, providing guidance and enablement resources to cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in SEO, AEO, content marketing, or digital marketing
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience with Semrush or similar SEO tools
  • Hands-on experience with content briefs, content optimization, and publishing workflows
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations to non-specialists
