SEO & GEO Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of US-based clients, leading regular meetings and performance reviews.
• Develop and implement SEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility across traditional engines and AI-powered experiences like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
• Analyze campaign performance and visibility trends to identify optimization opportunities.
• Translate complex technical SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) concepts into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Partner with optimization and commercial teams to support new business pitches and long-term client success.
• Monitor emerging search and generative AI trends to share insights with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an SEO-focused role.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimization, and search performance measurement.
• Proven experience presenting insights and performance updates to clients or senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools including GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into strategic actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A keen interest in AI and the evolving landscape of content discovery.
