SEO Generalist

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, optimization, and publication of SEO-driven content for key landing pages and blog posts
• Use local insights and keyword research to identify content opportunities for Google and Naver
• Localize English website pages to improve rankings in the South Korean market
• Identify link-building opportunities and conduct outreach following brand and ethical standards
• Propose creative solutions to improve the search-to-conversion experience for Korean users
• Monitor local search trends and competitor activity on Google and Naver
• Utilize AI tools to automate routine tasks and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO and/or Digital Marketing
• Native-level fluency in Korean and strong English communication skills
• Excellent Korean writing skills with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances
• Understanding of SEO principles, content strategy, and link building
• Knowledge of the Naver search ecosystem and how it differs from Google
• Experience with CMS platforms and SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or Screaming Frog

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing SEO content specifically for Naver properties (Blog, Cafe, KnowledgeiN)
• Experience using Naver analytics tools to measure content performance
• Experience collaborating with Korean influencers or Power Bloggers for backlink acquisition
• Experience creating content for Naver video platforms like Naver Clip or TV
