SEO Account Director

Responsibilities

• Own the results of directly managed accounts and all accounts within your team
• Deploy advanced SEO strategies including video SEO, structured data, and content marketing
• Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and serve as a senior escalation point
• Lead, coach, and retain a team of SEO professionals
• Contribute to business growth through pitches, audits, and thought leadership

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of deep, hands-on SEO expertise
• Several years of experience leading and developing a team
• Proven track record of managing senior client relationships in digital marketing
• Strong analytical mindset and communication skills
• Must be based in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Content marketing or professional writing experience
• Mix of in-house and agency backgrounds
• Experience with paid media, CRO, organic social, or email
• Prior remote work experience
