Sensory Research Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and design sensory research studies aligned with client objectives
• Act as Key Account Manager for select clients, serving as the primary point of contact
• Manage, implement, and coordinate complex research projects from start to finish
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and presenting tailored solutions
• Mentor and influence sensory panelists to uphold quality standards and engagement
• Lead, coach, and support Panel Leaders and Technicians to ensure professional development
• Complete reports with clear storytelling and present results with actionable recommendations
• Ensure all project work meets agreed quality standards, timelines, and budgets

Requirements

• BS in Food Science, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field
• 5+ years of industry experience in sensory or market research
• Strong sensory science expertise, including technical product testing and descriptive panels
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies and statistics
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
