Senior/Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives with broad business and technical impact
• Build agentic systems that power real-world enterprise accounting automation
• Scale the platform to support large and growing enterprise workloads
• Architect a durable and scalable financial data processing layer
• Build infrastructure that powers agentic systems
• Solve intricate accounting workflows through clean and robust abstractions
• Own major product and engineering areas and work closely with customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building systems at high-growth companies
• Strong familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems
• Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in downtown San Mateo

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI agents
• Experience with data pipelines
• Experience with mission-critical systems (e.g. fintech)
• Experience with complex workflow engines
