Senior/Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Data Center

Responsibilities

• Advance operations by implementing SRE best practices focusing on users, monitoring, and automation
• Engineer infrastructure patterns for AWS environments with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability
• Design, build, and operate data center environments to support Machine Learning teams
• Integrate on-premises datacenter environments with existing cloud infrastructure for a seamless hybrid environment
• Improve infrastructure reliability through root-cause analysis and design reviews
• Participate in platform on-call rotations and assist with urgent incident response

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in automation using Python, GoLang, or Ansible
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Cloudformation
• Experience administering physical hardware stacks (iDRAC, IPMI, Nvidia UFM, or Juniper Systems)
• Knowledge of high-performance storage solutions (Quobyte, S3, FSx, or EFS)
• Familiarity with modern network designs and network layers
• Experience with virtualization or container orchestration (EKS, ClusterAPI, or KVM)
• Experience managing critical production infrastructure and incident response
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
