Senior/Staff Product Manager

Partly's mission is to connect the world's parts by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, Partly provides a scalable digital infrastructure solution to some of the world's largest businesses and startups, acting as the backbone for cataloging and managing parts online.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Partly's infrastructure and developer platform
• Own the end-to-end transactional job flow (Partly Rails) and external integration APIs
• Manage the developer portal, documentation, tooling, and sandbox environments
• Grow the global network of integration partners and the developer ecosystem
• Design APIs for agentic and LLM-based consumption
• Prototype API experiences and developer tooling using AI-assisted development
• Partner with engineering leads to balance platform capability and technical sustainability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience owning platform or infrastructure products
• Proven experience owning developer-facing API products (design, versioning, governance)
• Practical experience building or scaling a developer ecosystem or partner programs
• Deep understanding of developer experience (DX), documentation, and onboarding
• Ability to build rapid prototypes using AI-assisted tools or code
• Strong analytical skills to define metrics and query data independently
• Ability to engage credibly with engineers on API architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing APIs for agentic or LLM-based consumption
• Familiarity with transactional or workflow APIs (payments, logistics, supply chain)
• Experience running a partner or ISV program at scale
• Founder background or early employee experience at a platform-first startup
• Domain knowledge in automotive aftermarket, collision repair, or insurance claims
