About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement state-of-the-art open-source models to run natively in the ComfyUI core engine
- Design and build native nodes that expose new model capabilities cleanly to users
- Work directly with the core team on architecting new features
- Partner with the custom node community to help core absorb capabilities as they mature
- Help shape the future direction of the technology
Requirements
- Deep understanding of how generative AI models work under the hood
- Experience porting models from research into production
- Strong knowledge of ComfyUI architecture, workflows, and node design
- Ability to implement new open-source models (image, video, 3D, audio, multimodal) quickly after release
- Ability to read and interpret new model research papers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diffusion or LLM models
- Experience building custom nodes for ComfyUI
