Senior/Staff Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end manufacturing ownership of multiple development and production products
• Develop, implement, and refine scalable manufacturing processes
• Drive improvements in yield, cycle times, and first-pass quality
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows
• Lead new concepts through the factory using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) strategies
• Develop manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process plans
• Ensure compliance with quality standards like AS9100
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing staff and lead cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Significant exposure to aerospace or defense industries
• Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Experience with MES, PLM, and ERP systems
• Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, robotics, or automation
• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001
• Experience in high-tech, fast-paced startup environments
