Senior/Staff Data Scientist, Growth Product

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics for how new users activate and form habits on Suno, from signup and onboarding through their first week
• Design experiments to improve the early-life journey, including push notifications, lifecycle messaging, and product surfaces
• Serve as the lead Data Scientist for the Growth Activation team, collaborating with product, engineering, and design
• Contribute to building strong data foundations as part of the centralized data science team

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in data science or product analytics roles, ideally on consumer products
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Deep experimentation experience grounded in statistical rigor
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to influence stakeholders through data insights
• Self-starter mentality with an ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a fast-growing consumer app or a startup with strong product-led growth
• Background in activation, lifecycle, or growth analytics
• Hands-on AI usage in day-to-day data science work
• A love of music or creative tools
