Senior/Staff CloudOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Pulumi modules to provision reliable, cost-efficient cloud resources
• Own infrastructure end to end using Infrastructure as Code
• Instrument systems for high observability to ensure rapid failure detection
• Automate deployments, scaling, backups, and repetitive manual tasks
• Partner with Product Engineering to design resilient services and review architectures
• Optimize infrastructure for cost and performance efficiency

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems in AWS
• Strong skills in Python
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi or Terraform
• Experience with frontier AI models such as Claude, Codex, or Gemini
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Datadog
• Proven ability to debug production issues under pressure
• Strong documentation habits and ability to explain complex technical issues
