Senior/Staff Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on the backend platform supporting highly scalable mobile games played by millions of users
• Collaborate closely with client-developers and game designers from feature design to delivery
• Handle cross-functional tasks ranging from infrastructure and API design to client-side integration
• Write scalable code and champion new tech initiatives
• Gather requirements and leverage existing solutions to scale common features

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Extreme fluency in Golang
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
• Background in high-scale systems
• Understanding of Unix-like environments
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex scalability and performance problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
