Senior/Principal Software Engineer

About the Company

Endurance is building the world's first modular subsea geothermal power plants, converting vast thermal resources under the ocean into gigawatts of baseload power. Responsibilities

• Select, integrate, configure, and build foundational software systems for manufacturing and supply chain
• Make build vs. buy decisions across PLM, ERP, MES, procurement, and telemetry
• Architect and build telemetry, data, and operational software for seafloor power plants
• Interface with internal customers to design software that accelerates workflows
• Write production code and set engineering standards for the broader software team
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain leaders on the software roadmap
• Establish cybersecurity, data governance, and development practices
• Help shape the software organization through interviewing and onboarding

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven track record architecting and operating internal software systems (manufacturing, supply chain, or telemetry)
• Ability to ship production software end-to-end from architecture to deployment
• Technical fluency to collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle and travel to deployment sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in operational technology, SCADA, telemetry, or controls integration
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or quality data systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (CMMC, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP)
• Experience with ITAR / EAR controlled environments
• Background in subsea, aerospace, or defense industries
