About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute ADC Conjugation Process Development strategies using DOE and OFAT approaches
- Oversee ADC batch size progression from milligram to >100 g scales for PD, analytical, and formulation development
- Lead multi-gram scale purification optimization via UF/DF and preparative chromatography
- Serve as ADC Drug Substance subject matter expert for internal CMC teams and external CDMO partners
- Prepare essential documentation including SOPs, protocols, and reports for tech transfers and regulatory submissions
- Support authoring and reviewing of regulatory submission modules (IND, IMPD, BLA)
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of biotech/biopharma experience with a Ph.D., 8 years with a Master's, or 10 years with a Bachelor's
- Required expertise in ADC or Conjugation/Bioconjugation Process Development
- Proven success in development and scale-up of ADC conjugation technologies and small molecule linker-payloads
- Experience with tech transfer and external CDMO engagement
- Strong understanding of conjugation, purification, and characterization approaches for ADCs
- Expertise in tangential flow filtration (TFF) at multi-gram scale
- Proficiency with analytical techniques including SEC, HIC, RP U/HPLC, LC-MS, icIEF, and CE-SDS
- Knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory guidelines for IND and BLA submissions
